This is the first coffee I'm testing and reviewing with my new DE1XL V1.4 from Decent Espresso, and I feel that I couldn't have picked a better coffee if I had planned it. This natural Ethiopian from Red Rooster is bursting with fruity flavors. It reminds me almost of Sweetarts candy. It has a powerful blend of berry, apricot and grape notes with a slight tart pop of acidity. I really enjoy coffees like this and the DE1XL has a literal endless amount of pressure and flow profiles to experiment with. So far I've been loving the "Best Overall Pressure Profile" with this coffee but at a slightly lower temp. The end result is an incredibly smooth and sweet straight espresso that tasted magical!
