TEST RESULTS


Upon opening the bag I was delighted to see that this coffee was not roasted too dark. Too many classic Italian style espressos are roasted way too dark, and burn out all of the best flavors. Prima Goccia is roasted abolutely perfect! This coffee tastes like sweet hot chocolate with a light drizzle of caramel, dusted with warm roasted nuts. This is EXACTLY how a properly roasted classic Italian style espresso should taste. I feel like traditional espresso roasts like these are few and far between. It's rare to find one that checks all the boxes. Don't get me wrong, I love a punchy fruity light roasted specialty coffee as much as the next guy, but there is something magical about the perfect simplicity of a classic espresso like this. The hallowed halls of classic espresso perfection are a lonely place, as most coffees in this category fall short. Prima Goccia is one of the rare few that pass the test! Well done!
